New Zealand’s Performance of Manufacturing Index (PMI) continues to show a concerning trend with the sector now in contraction for 15 consecutive months
The March PMI result dipped after improving the month before, dropping 2 points to 47.1 – a strong contraction that keeps the index well below positive territory.
Those hoping for a more optimistic start to the year, will be disappointed with the recent PMI (Performance of Manufacturing Index) results announced last week.
Another month brings about another decline in the Performance of Manufacturing Index, showing that manufacturers continue to do it tough in the current business environment.
